Japanese Sen Toku I-400 Class Submarine Models

Our enhanced scale models of the Imperial Japanese Navy Sen Toku I-400 Aircraft Carrier Submarine represents the finest in master craftsmanship. These vessels were able to carry underwater three Aichi M6A Seiran aircraft at one time. They also carried torpedoes for short range attack making them a commanding force both near and far. Only three were ever built. They surfaced, launched their aircraft and then immediately dove back underwater to evade detection. These were the largest submarines built of WWII unsurpassed in size until the 1960's when the Ballistic Nuclear Submarines were introduced.
