Custom made 1/700th scale waterline model of the USS Reclaimer (ARS-42) Rescue & Salvage Ship. A very small scale Bolster Class configured for active duty 1989-1991 with signal flags of special significance. The commissioning Serviceman also served aboard the USS Milius (DDG-69) Arleigh Burke Class Aegis Guided Missile Destroyer. The two models have been mounted together in a dual waterline model display. Custom transparent simulated water base surrounded in blue acrylic includes airbrushed water effects and topside waves. All models include our standard solid Red Oak case finished in fine natural Danish oils, clear flame polished cover and brass engraved nameplate. Can be upgraded to include customized nameplate with serviceman name, rank and dates aboard.
